Labor Day Pancake Breakfast 2011 We have done this for several years and this year there was a record turnout of runners for the Leawood Labor Day 5K run and Lions Run breakfast. The City Parks Department said 500 runners had registered. As part of their entry fee the runners get a ticket to the Lions Pancake Breakfast which is served in the Lions Shelter in Leawood Park. The Leawood Lions paid for construction of the Shelter in 1996.
