Upcoming Events Please join the Leawood Lions at a T-Bones game to benefit Harvesters. Different community service clubs will compete to donate the most canned goods to the Harvesters food bank. The event will take place at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, the home of the Kansas City T-Bones, during a game between the T-Bones and the RailCats. Gates will open at 5:30 pm. Harvesters will have collection bins designated by club (Kiwanis, Lions, Optimists, Rotary, and Sertoma) at the main gate. First pitch will be at 7:05 pm. Once the game is underway, Harvesters will weigh the bins and announce the winning service club. This is always a fun evening and the T-Bones provide plenty of entertainment both before and during the game. The cost of the game is $7.00. You can eat in the tents and see the game for $20.00. The meal includes choices of 3 entrees and 2 sides plus 2 drink tickets. Please let me know if you plan to attend, you can e-mail, or call Donald Schultz (913) 381-3592. If you can't attend, please help by donating canned goods to benefit Harvesters. Donations can be brought to our regular meetings before May 25.
